Serenna is regularly engaged as a soloist for opera, oratorio and concert work. She is often asked to sing at weddings, funerals and special events.

SINGING

Serenna recently completed her Masters degree in Music Therapy. She is currently working on a series of opera workshops designed for children with special needs.

Serenna has taught singing in schools for many years. She is also able to teach piano, violin and flute, and runs her own private practice from home.

Serenna was born in Leeds to English-Polish parents. She studied Music and English at Birmingham University, before taking her postgraduate degree in vocal studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. She graduated with a distinction for both her Masters and her postgraduate diploma in performance in 2005. Since then, she has worked as a solo opera, oratorio and concert singer, chorus member, teacher and opera workshop leader. Companies she has worked for include English National Opera, Heritage Opera, Opera Anywhere, Longborough Festival Opera, British Youth Opera, Focus Opera and Opera by Definition. She has sung in all the major oratorios, and given concerts on many occasions in the UK, and in France.
